India’s Military Rank in the World takes center stage in the latest report by Global Firepower (GFP), a website tracking global defense information. The United States claims the top spot, with Russia and China following in second and third place, while India secures the fourth position in the global military rankings.
Bhutan holds the bottom spot on the list with a power index of 6.3704, according to the recent evaluation by Global Firepower. This assessment covered 145 world powers, taking into account factors like manpower, financial resources, logistical capabilities, and geographic positioning. The resulting PowerIndex (PwrIdx) score reflects a country’s military capabilities, with a lower score indicating strength. Notably, India’s Military Rank in the World is given prominence as it secured the fourth position, according to the index. Global Firepower emphasizes its unique formula, enabling smaller, technologically advanced nations to compete with larger, lesser-developed powers. Special modifiers, including bonuses and penalties, are applied to refine the list, which is updated annually.
